Check out the pages. Check Yandex TCI and Google PR. Check TIC through third-party services

And in this article we will look at all the ways to check the TCI of any website.

I would like to note the fact that no matter how we check the TIC, in any case the data will be taken from Yandex, since it is he who sets this value. Therefore, the resulting index value must be the same for all methods.

I have identified the 7 most popular ways to determine TCI.

7 ways to find out TIC

1. Check the TCI through the Yandex buttons

Yandex provides the ability to install a special button with TCI for the site. It is also called CY money. It looks something like this:

You can get this button in Yandex help: http://help.yandex.ru/catalogue/?id=1111360. Its code will be something like this:

Without a button, the value can be viewed via the link:

http://yandex.ru/cycounter?VASH_SITE.RU

URL without http:// protocol.

2. Checking the TCI Yandex Catalog

I use this method most often, because if you click on the TCI in the Yandex Bar, the page links to the address from YAK:

http://search.yaca.yandex.ru/yca/cy/ch/YASH_SITE.RU/

YOUR_SAYT.RU - here you need to specify the site URL without the http:// protocol.

It also indicates whether the specified site was found in the Yandex Catalog.

If you see the inscription " Resource citation index less than 10", this means that the TCI of the site is zero. This is normal. But if you see the inscription “Not defined", this means that the site fell under the AGS and its TCI was artificially reset to zero.

3. Check the TCI via Yandex Webmaster

This method is suitable for checking the TIC on your websites. Add your site to Yandex Webmaster. Next, on the panel of your sites in Java, you can immediately see the TCI and the number of pages in the index for all added sites. You can also find a lot of useful information about your site here. For example, look at all incoming links, look at popular queries, find errors on the site, etc.

4. Check the TCI via Yandex Bar (Yandex Elements)

You can install a special extension in any browser - Yandex Elements. It used to be called Yandex Bar (many people still call it that). For example, I installed them on the FireFox browser. Here's what it roughly looks like.

To configure the display of the TCI of the site, you need to go to the settings and make it appear. By default, the TCI of the site is not shown. Here are brief instructions for adding TCI output in Yandex Elements:

5. Check the TCI through a plugin in the browser

As I already said, there are other popular plugins: SeoQuake, Page Promoter and others.

6. Check the TCI through third-party services

Third-party services for site analysis provide detailed information about the site, including TCI. They are all free and there are a lot of them. I will list the most common ones.

Good afternoon friends! Today we will continue the topic of TIC, we’ll talk about how to check the TIC of a site and how to install the Yandex TIC counter.

As I mentioned in the last article, TIC is a Thematic Citation Index. You can check the TIC of your blog in many ways, with different applications, scripts, and various browser applications. Specialized services, various programs can also determine the TIC, and, most importantly, the TIC is determined by the Yandex service itself. Namely, it determines the TIC - webmaster.yandex.ru.

In addition to the TIC, the Yandex webmaster determines how many pages of your site are indexed by the robot, how many external links to your site, and the time of the last visit to your site by the robot.

Not only Yandex Metrica can determine the TIC

The metric also clearly shows the graph of visits to your site, how many views, how many visitors, visits. If you take a deep dive into your site's metrics, you'll find fairly accurate information about views and visits to your site by week, month, quarter, etc.

I won’t talk in detail about the metric, I’ll just say that there is a lot of useful data about your site, including a tab called Webvisor, where you can see in video mode what exactly the visitor did and how he behaved on your site .

What pages and data did you look at, how long and where did you stay. In other words, Yandex Metrica is a useful thing. I advise you to register there. It won't be difficult at all.

You can check the TIC of the site through the RDS bar

You can also check the site's TIC using the RDS extension. With the help of this extension, many bloggers can easily determine the TIC of any blog and see its main parameters.

The TIC of a blog, including any blog, can be determined without any problems using the RDS extension; you just need to install this bar on your browser and explore any blogs/sites without any problems. As you can see, it also shows PR, Dmoz and much more, including traffic to any site.

For example, I installed this plugin in Mozilla Firefox and if I need to find out the parameters of a site, I launch Mozilla (It is also easily installed in Yandex browser, Google, Opera and others). The only drawback of this extension is that the browser starts to slow down after installation. But you can do like me. When I need to find out information about a site, I use Firefox. My main one is Yandex.

Installing this bar is quite simple. Launch Mozilla, click on “tools”, then “add-ons”. A new window opens for you. In the left column, select “get add-ons”:

we head to the right column, where in the search line “Search among add-ons” we enter the RDS bar.

This plugin will look like:

Also, a similar icon appears in the corner of our browser. When we click on it, a window will open with detailed information about the site whose window is currently open:

You can check the TIC of the site through the counter

This method is suitable for you if you want to immediately know how your TIC or Google PageRank has changed. At the same time, you can learn about these changes directly from the pages of your website.

You can install this counter from the Yandex page, then visitors to your site will immediately see what kind of tits you have, or, as many people call it, a belly meter.

The HTML code for your counter will be similar to this:

.

Where instead of my site you need to put the address.

This counter is very convenient for tracking your TIC.

Visually the counter will look like this:

On this counter, the TIC is 85,000; in reality, achieving this, believe me, friends, is not so easy.

In this regard, as Yandex itself says, you will always have a banknote of the required denomination on your page.

But for example, if you decide to make money from links, you simply need to check the TIC. If you do not want all visitors to your site to highlight your TIC, it is not necessary to put it on public display. As I said earlier, just log into Yandex Webmaster and you will find out everything.

That's all for today. In the next article we will talk about how to increase the TIC of your website!

This time I have prepared a short video for you on how to check the TIC of a site! Enjoy watching!

Sincerely, Andrey Zimin 09/28/2013

Anecdote in each article:

Sites. At the same time, to build a search ranking for a particular search query, robots evaluate sites based on various indicators. Indicators such as: thematic citation index (TIC) and (PR). Both of these indicators strongly depend on the site’s policy regarding external link mass and have a decisive impact on the site’s ranking results in search engines.

Thematic site citation index

It is no secret that the key to effective operation of a website is its effective promotion in search engines. At the same time, it is important that the site gains high positions in popular search engines such as Yandex.

Popular search engines have a huge user audience that can potentially visit the promoted resource. In order to achieve this and attract the attention of users to the site, it is necessary to promote it not only in the search rankings, but also in such specialized services as Yandex.Catalogue.

Every month in this service there is about 4 million users, but this is not a guarantee that this will automatically give the site enviable traffic figures. In order to attract Yandex.Catalog users to the site, it is necessary to bring it to the first positions in the search results. The Yandex search engine ranks sites in a rather specific way. The ranking principle is based on the assessment of all resources applying for participation in the search results according to certain indicators, one of which is the TIC, or thematic citation index.

In essence, this indicator is an identifier of the effectiveness of the policy pursued for working with the external reference mass of the resource. The TIC indicator depends on how many external links are posted on the network and on what platforms they are published. In order to increase the ranking of a site in Yandex.Catalogue, it is necessary to strive to increase the thematic citation index. The surest way to increase the value of this indicator is to carry out optimization activities aimed at external link mass of sites.

In particular, it is necessary to strive to ensure that as many external links as possible refer to the promoted resource. But it's not just about quantity, but also about quality. It is extremely important that links are not randomly placed on the network, but that this is preceded by painstaking work to select the most suitable sites.

To increase the thematic citation index, experts recommend gradually increasing the volume of external reference mass, giving preference to thematic platforms. In this case, the so-called link explosion will not occur, and the weight of external links will significantly increase.

PageRank of the site

Promotion in Yandex is, without a doubt, important for the site, but it is no less necessary to pay attention to other popular search engines. In particular, in order for a sufficiently large number of users to come to the site, it is necessary to promote it simultaneously in all the most popular search engines, in particular Google.

Promoting a website in this search engine also requires paying great attention to the issues of working with external link mass. Like Yandex, the Google search engine evaluates sites, including the weight of their external links. However, the assessment of external link mass in this case is carried out according to another indicator, namely - PageRank (PR).

This indicator varies for all pages of the site and indicates how much confidence a particular section inspires in the search robot. In general, the value of this indicator ranges from 1 to 10. A PageRank of 4-5 is considered sufficient, but if the PR value is 6, this indicates that the promotion was carried out at a high professional level.

In order for a site to be ranked higher in the Google search engine rankings, it is necessary to strive to increase the value of this indicator.

To determine which direction to move in order to increase PageRank value, you need to determine what it depends on. Among the main factors that have a decisive impact on the level of this indicator, it should be noted the total weight of the external link mass. Accordingly, in order to increase the indicator, you need to increase the weight of each link and all of them in total.

You can do this in two ways - extensive and intensive. In the first case, we are talking about increasing the weight of the external link mass by increasing the number of external links, in the second - by increasing their quality. The quality of the external link mass largely depends on the correct selection of donor sites for its placement.

Experts advise placing links on authoritative network resources that are devoted to the same topics as the site being promoted. Another way to increase PR is competent internal linking - by placing internal links on the pages of a site, you can increase its authority in the eyes of users and search engines. And, of course, we must not forget about natural links, which have the greatest weight and go to the site as a reward for high-quality informative content.

By filling the site with interesting and frequently updated materials, you can provoke users to link to the site from third-party resources. Such external links have the greatest impact on the outcome of a site's ranking in search engines.

Why conduct a site analysis?

Site analysis is a tool that will help determine in which direction you should work to promote the site, since the main goal of promotion is to increase popularity, improve traffic and encourage the client to take action (order a product, service).

How often do you do a site analysis?

The site should be checked regularly. Optimally - once every 3-4 weeks. Thus, it is possible to trace the dynamics of the main indicators. You can analyze the state of a competitor’s website, which will allow you to compare the information received with data about your resource.

By analyzing the state of the web resource, you can understand what shortcomings there are and what needs to be corrected. For example, if you want to get into the TOP, you should conduct an analysis of the content and technical part, which will point out shortcomings. A competent approach will help to correct them based on a correctly drawn up technical specification for the developer.
